i haven't listened to much of your catalog in full unfortunately, so take this with a grain of salt, but yeah this is your finest work to date. it does take a bit long to get started (i would've cut off like 30 seconds minimum,) but the melodies are soothing and pleasant to listen to for a while--the runtime is certainly justified. the transition between drum patterns throughout is done really well and helps keep things fresh and vibrant, helping sell the atmosphere that evolves throughout the song. it's brilliant shit

my only real complaint is that it's *slightly* repetitive? the lead synth in places like 4:15 appears a bit much and it does get a little grating compared to the main chords. the "yeah! woo!" could probably go as well but i do realize that's a staple of yours. i wish the transition out of 5:55 was a bit less abrupt (just a crash would do) but i can't complain much when everything past that point is just beautiful. really damn good

newgrounds operates on the four-point scale so i've upped my rating a bit; i'd give it a 7 under normal circumstances

there's a lot here that i feel you've done absolutely right. i love how it just gets right into it, i love the variety of stuff you've put forth, i love the feel of the overstimulating mix, i LOVE how you work with drums, i quite like the transition from 1:47 to 1:57. the outro is a good complement to what comes before it... it's clear that you're damn good at this sorta thing

what holds it back for me is that it does feel like it overstays its welcome, almost? it's hard to keep the energy you have going for almost 5 minutes, and i feel like it's a bit too repetitive (i note the repeat of the crystal synth at 3:22.) some sections are a bit long and it does lose its grasp after enough repeats. 4:04 is abrupt, jarring and completely shifts the energy of the song. i wish you stayed in the time signature you started with--15/2, as far as i can tell? i certainly like the 4/4 sections, don't get me wrong, i'd have just done one or the other.

but that's not to accentuate the negative, you have something good here, it's an ultimately enjoyable piece of work. good job
